This project aims at designing an intelligent multipurpose battery that will be functioning using salt solution. Looking at the inconveniences involved in the usage of ordinary battery for cars and other utilities, coupled with the demerits of alkaline and problems involved in the charging and discharging rates that tamper with the lifespan of the battery, this new innovation will enable the design of a battery that will be cost-effective in usage and application. The intelligence involved in the design will make provision for a monitoring system that determines the level of the battery, either low, medium or high using a graphical interface.
The creation of a graphical user interface application will be necessary to remotely monitor the charged level of the battery on a smartphone.
The target of this project is to enable the students to design and construct a battery at the end, and present their ideas and methodology in English demonstrating their technical and communication skills.
